OELM is not just a political platform — it is a movement of awakening and irreversible progress (“Irapada” — redemption and liberation). Its core ideas directly confront neocolonial legacies and internal subjugation:
Liberation from Systemic Oppression and Neocolonial Structures. OELM exposes how big political parties and inherited systems have oppressed the masses, weaponized poverty, and subjugated the public. It fights “systemic slavery” by taking governance from criminals and returning it to the general public — ending elite capture, opacity, and the frustration of youth potential that keeps Africa dependent rather than resourceful.
Intellectual Enlightenment and Mind Liberation. True freedom starts in the mind. OELM enlightens the masses on the actions needed to break free from all forms of oppression. Through African-rooted education, cultural pride (Omoluabi values), and community awareness programs, it liberates minds and bodies — empowering citizens to think, innovate, and solve their own problems instead of relying on outsiders.
Economic Resourcefulness and Self-Reliance. OELM turns Osun’s (and Nigeria’s) fertile land, minerals (like gold), and youthful talent into engines of shared wealth. It rejects dependency by building agricultural clusters, digital economies, responsible mining, coding initiatives, and skills that let our people create solutions for Africa — not for foreign masters. The goal: end unemployment and food insecurity so every family lives a purposeful, prosperous life.
Governance as Service — Power Back to the People. OELM demands transparency (real-time public finance website), accountability (Ministry of Citizens’ Rights), and inclusiveness (citizens’ database, community forums, traditional rulers’ advisory roles). It dismantles privilege and restores trust so governance serves the masses, not distant elites or neocolonial interests.
Social and Cultural Revival for Purposeful Living. From world-class, African-rooted healthcare and education to Omoluabi festivals and safe community spaces, OELM restores dignity. It champions unity across Christians, Muslims, and Traditionalists, protects workers and the vulnerable (including elders), and uses technology for security that respects rights. Every child begins with opportunity (Osun Child Trust Fund); every citizen lives with purpose.
Collective Action for Pan-African Liberation. Starting in Osun as a model, OELM inspires a national and continental awakening. It calls on Nigerians and Africans to participate politically, reject monetized “money-bag” politics, and build societies where people are resourceful, innovative, and free to fulfill their destinies — breaking the intergenerational chains of subjugation once and for all.
